Anna Huseman...

...is a textile and knitting designer from Hamburg. Her work is all about the interaction of color, shape and material - always looking for a modern, abstract interpretation of the traditional craft of knitting. Her greatest source of inspiration is nature: here she not only finds ideas for motifs and compositions, but also special color nuances and structures. She shares her love of colorful patterns and environmentally friendly textiles in knitting instructions, in collaborations with international knitting magazines and in numerous workshops. Her first book INTARSIA KNITS will be published in October 2024, which, in addition to many tips and tricks, contains twelve projects based on the intarsia technique in all its variations. Anna shows insights into her work on Instagram via @anna_husemann.

Bärbel Salet...

...has been knitting since she was 12 years old and has always been fascinated by knitting with lots of colours and harmonious colour gradients. Since 2012 she has been giving regular workshops on how to plan and knit large, artistically patterned triangular shawls.

Her first book, ARTISTIC SHAWLS, was published by Stiebner Verlag on October 20, 2022. In addition to an extensive technical section that will also help beginners overcome their fear of such a large knitting project, another aspect was important to her: she designed shawls that are suitable for beginners and created others that offer a challenge to experienced knitters. In addition, she shows in the many photos that the shawls can be worn by all generations and ages and also look wonderful in muted tones.

Meret Buetzberger...

She places great importance on clarity and attention to detail in her knitting instructions, which is why her designs are carefully technically edited and tested. This ensures that even novice knitters can bring her knitwear designs to life.

One of Meret's great knitting loves is double knitting, also known as DoubleFace. This special technique makes it possible to create a knitted piece with two "front" sides in one go and, unlike fair isle, there are no floats to see.
