Prefer to travel by car?
The Munich Knits Festival takes place in the former Gasteig Munich.
The building has a large, municipal underground car park. And another one on the other side of the street, called Motorama.
The residential area around the former Gasteig is a residents' parking zone only.
Park and ride parking spaces and then taking the S-Bahn would also be an option.
Bicycle Arrival
There are enough parking spaces for bicycles in front of the house. There is also a wide bike path and a bicycle rental station directly at the Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn station.

Munich Airport is directly connected to the former Gasteig Munich by the S-Bahn S8. Get off at the Rosenheimer Platz station and follow the signs. The trip takes 40 minutes
